RETURN AND REFUND POLICY


At Sere Luxury Lifestyle LLC, we strive to ensure that every customer is fully satisfied with their purchase. While we are confident in the quality of our fashion items, we understand that

sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. This Return and Refund Policy has been designed to provide clear, fair, and transparent rules for returns, exchanges, and refunds.


This policy applies to all purchases made through our Shopify-hosted online store. Because we do not operate a physical retail storefront, all returns and exchanges must be processed online in accordance with the procedures outlined below.


1. GENERAL RETURN GUIDELINES

a. Return Window: Customers may initiate a return request within 30 days of the delivery date.This timeframe balances consumer rights with business practicality and is consistent with leading consumer-protection frameworks.

b. Condition of Items: Items must be new, unused, unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging with all tags and accessories attached. Returns that show signs of wear, alteration, or damage outside of normal handling may be refused.

c. Exclusions: Certain items are non-returnable for reasons of hygiene, personalization, or final sale status. These include:

i. Intimates and lingerie

ii. Swimwear 

iii. Personalized or customized products 

iv. Items marked as “final sale” at the time of purchase 


d. Proof of Purchase: A valid order number, invoice, or confirmation email is required to process all returns and exchanges. 

e. Restocking Fee: A 5% restocking fee may apply to discretionary returns (e.g., change of mind). This fee does not apply to defective, damaged, or incorrectly fulfilled orders, nor to orders canceled in compliance with consumer rights laws. 


2. SPECIFIC RETURN SCENARIOS 

a. Sale Items: Products purchased on sale or at a discount may be returned only for store credit equal to the purchase price, unless otherwise required by law. Customers will be informed of this restriction before checkout. 

b. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items: If your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, notify us within 30 days of delivery. We will, at our discretion, offer a full refund (including shipping costs) or send a replacement at no additional charge. 

c. Lost in Transit: If your order is lost before delivery is completed, we will coordinate with the carrier and either reship your order at no cost or issue a full refund. Customers are not liable for carrier loss prior to confirmed delivery. 

d. Gifts: If you return a product received as a gift, we will issue the refund in the form of store credit to the recipient’s account or email address.


3. HOW TO RETURN

a. Initiating a Return: To begin, submit a request via our online return portal at

sereluxurylifestyle@gmail.com. Once reviewed, we will issue a Return Merchandise

Authorization (RMA) with instructions. We do not accept in-person returns because we do not operate a retail storefront; all returns must be shipped using the instructions provided with your RMA.

b. Domestic Returns: For orders shipped within the United States, we provide a prepaid returnshipping label. In some cases, return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund amount unless the product was defective, damaged, or incorrectly fulfilled.

c. International Returns: For orders shipped outside the U.S., customers are generally responsible for return shipping and any associated customs duties. If the item was defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover these costs. Duties and taxes already paid to customs are not refundable by us, but customers may seek reimbursement from their local customs Authority.


4. REFUND PROCESS

a. Inspection & Approval: Once the returned item is received, we inspect it to ensure it meets our return requirements. Items deemed not in returnable condition may be rejected, and customers will be notified. If you disagree with our determination that an item is not in returnable condition, you may request an internal appeal. A manager not involved in the original decision will review your case.

b. Method of Refund: Refunds are issued either to your original payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, BNPL provider, etc.) or as store credit, depending on your preference and applicable law. For mixed-tender payments, refunds are applied proportionally.

c. Processing Timeline: Where required by law, refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of your valid return request or product receipt, whichever is earlier.


d. Partial Returns: If part of an order is returned, the refund will reflect only the value of the returned items.


5. SPECIAL CASES

a. Alternative Payment Platforms: Refunds for payments made using PayPal, Afterpay, Klarna, or other BNPL providers will be processed back through those platforms, and your repayment schedule may be adjusted accordingly.

b. Price Adjustments: If an item you purchased is reduced in price within 14 days of your order, you may request a one-time price adjustment. Refunds for price adjustments are made to the original payment method. Clearance, final-sale items, and purchases with promo codes are excluded.

6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Items must be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.

b. Use the prepaid return label provided, where available, to ensure proper tracking.

c. Unauthorized returns, or those sent outside the return window, may not be processed.

7. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

This policy does not override your statutory rights under applicable law. Examples include:

a. U.S. state laws such as California’s implied warranty of merchantability.

b. EU/UK consumer laws granting a 14-day cooling-off period for certain online purchases.

Where required by law, we will extend or adapt our return practices to ensure compliance with consumer-protection regulations.
